Michigan roots, Tahoe soul. My childhood was a beautiful blend of the feminine and the masculine. My mom owned a salon attached to the house, with people coming in and out for all things hair, nails, and facials, while my dad’s adventurous spirit had him always exploring; on snowmobiles, boats, anything with wheels. I enjoyed both sides immensely and still do.
Growing up surrounded by overflowing photo albums and home videos, I witnessed the magic of capturing memories; it ignited a deep appreciation for storytelling. I've loved and lost very important people in my life and learned early on that life is too short to hold back whatever it is your heart is calling for you to do.

While in college for graphic design, I had a photography project that changed the course of my career forever. I realized that I could pursue a career capturing life for others the way that I treasured my own life being captured. Many people helped on my path to where I am today and I truly couldn’t be more grateful for it.

After moving to Lake Tahoe in 2011, I knew that I needed to make it my permanent home because it felt like my soul belonged here. Now, nestled in the Tahoe National Forest, my husband and I enjoy all that Lake Tahoe has to offer, from back country skiing, wake surfing, mountain biking, and more. We hope to grow our family some day and experience the place we love so much through their eyes. My camera remains a constant companion, helping document the beauty of connection, nature, and the stories that unfold all around us.

And booked her a year in advance! So we have now had her shoot us twice - for engagement and wedding - and she absolutely killed it at both. She truly has an incredible eye and such a creative mind.
